As a former senior strategist at Devolver Digital and a global PR agency, Clara has managed and consulted on launch campaigns of all scales for publishers and developers, reviewed thousands of pitches, signed exciting new titles, hired and trained staff, set up community teams, worked alongside international agencies, and provided mentorship for underrepresented industry hopefuls.
Clara's work history also includes project manager, operations manager, hiring manager, training manager, process and resource analyst, communications lead, and more.
Clara has served as a guest speaker at industry events and shows around the world. She has special interest in discussing game marketability and pitching, influencer marketing, community marketing, representation, content creator success, industry trends, and games in general.
She also serves as an adjudicator on various competition and grant panels and is a GDC Summit Advisory Board member.
Clara founded Twitch Vancouver - the first ever Twitch community event group in early 2015 - which helped launch the global Twitch MeetUps program.
As founder of Vancouver Game Connect, Clara continues her passion in bringing together game devs, content creators, and gamers in Vancouver, spearheading the Vancouver Game Expo and annual Games From Vancouver Steam sale.
